Marlana here.
If you’ve been keeping up with the blog, then you might remember me mentioning once that I am the one who writes the blog posts. It’s kind of the duty I’ve bestowed upon myself. I let the boys handle twitter. I find myself needing more than 150 characters most days.
I’m still battling with whether or not I should be writing in first or third person. Today I thought I’d go first. Mainly because I wanted to share about an email I got from my mother.

There is no question that my parents are overwhelmed with excitement about this tour… They have been the most supportive parents any child could ask for. They even learned how to use the Internet, just so they could read the comments on our Facebook page!

…But parents will be parents, and no matter how well you are doing in the world, they will always make sure to tell you about the areas that need room for improvement.
This week, my mother emailed me telling me she really enjoys the blog posts. However, (and there’s always a however) I use the word ‘amazing’ too often. She proceeded to send me a list of synonyms, of which I’m sure she looked up in her thesaurus. Thanks mom! You’re always lookin’ out for me! Everyone says hi to you and dad! love you and miss you guys!

On another note, I wanted to update about the last couple of shows….

Toronto was amazing! Michigan, you were amazing! We met some amazing people and had an amazing time. Meeting so many new people is definitely one of the most amazing parts of this tour. Simply can’t explain how AMAZING it has been!… ;)

… I should be expecting an email from them now with the subject line reading ‘smart ass’ :P
